Piano Instructor (Garfield Community Center)

Position Type:
Part Time (Seasonal, starting in Fall 2026, may extend)
Salary: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour (may earn up to $43.00/hr with continued employment)
Schedule:
Thursdays, 6:30‑7:30pm.
Start Date:
September
2026.
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate piano lessons.
- Plan, lead, and implement course‑appropriate activities for each lesson, focusing on technique development.
- Complete required administrative reports, such as attendance logs and incident reports.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience working with kids, teens, and adults.
- Experience and knowledge of piano.
- Must pass a Washington State Police criminal background check.
- Starting Pay: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour.
- Full Pay Range: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour (may earn up to $43.00 per hour with continued employment).
- ARC Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST).
