** Ampersand Therapy is hiring an itinerant Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist for the 2026–2027 school year in the Seattle WA area. We are a women- and therapist-founded company that values collaboration, professional support, and meaningful work with students and school communities.

Full time, approximately 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

Hours:

Up to 40 hours per week
* Dates:
August 27, 2026–June 19, 2027
* Grade Levels:
All grade levels

Responsibilities:
* Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
* Assess students’ communication, language, academic, and accessibility needs
* Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
* Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to support student access
* Consult with general education teachers and school teams regarding accommodations
* Support the use of hearing technology, assistive devices, and communication systems
* Collaborate with families, interpreters, audiologists, and related service providers
* Maintain accurate progress notes, service records, and educational documentation
* Travel between assigned school sites as needed

Qualifications:

* Valid state teaching credential with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in deaf education, special education, or a related field
* Experience supporting students across multiple grade levels preferred
* Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to travel between school sites
