Holy Rosary School (Seattle) is a dynamic STEM plus Catholic school in West Seattle dedicated to helping their students grow as disciples of Christ. Serving students from preschool - 8th grade, we looking for a leave replacement math specialist to join our faculty of committed, faith-filled, and collaborative educators beginning in late October or early November, 2026, likely continuing into the spring or late into the school year.

Successful candidates:

• Are passionate about Catholic education and its purpose
• Understand the developmental needs of elementary students
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Common Core Standards, Curriculum Mapping, and use of formative and summative assessments to drive instruction
• Demonstrate knowledge of successful differentiation techniques in order to ensure all students learn at high levels
• Can communicate effectively and proactively with staff, students, and parents
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Are creative, engaging, and dynamic in the classroom
• Are knowledgeable of STEM principles and how project-based learning can apply to all subject areas
• Possess orare eligible for a Washington State Teaching Certificate
• Are fully vaccinated and willing to teach students in person

Salary
:
The daily rate for this long term subbing position is $275 - $325. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. This position is not eligible for benefits.
