Biology Adjunct Faculty

The Department of Biology at Seattle University invites applications forAdjunct

Facultyon-site positions for the 2026-27 academic year, starting in September
2026,January 2027, and March 2027. Thesepositionsaretemporary replacementsfor current faculty on sabbatical leaves. We are seekinginstructorsto teach introductory courses (BIOL , , ),majorscourses including genetics, anatomy and physiology, virology, and cell biology, and/ornon-majorscourses on cancer biology or global health.

Specific course assignments will bedeterminedbased on the candidate’sexpertiseand departmental needs.

Ideal candidates willhaveexpertiseina relevant field ofbiology, a commitment to undergraduate education and teaching excellence, and an advanced degree in Biology or a closely related field (minimum of a master’s degree; Ph.D. preferred).
