Position: Program Coordinator (Grow Your Own Hub)

PSESD partners with school districts, early learning providers, and community organizations to improve educational outcomes and advance equity for all learners. Role Description

The Program Coordinator (Grow Your Own Hub) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Seattle Area. This position coordinates day-to-day operations of the Grow Your Own Hub, including scheduling activities, tracking program milestones, and supporting implementation of initiatives that expand and diversify the educator workforce. The Program Coordinator maintains communication with partner districts, community organizations, and internal teams; prepares reports and documentation;

and supports meetings, trainings, and events. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries from participants and partners, maintaining accurate data and records, assisting with outreach and recruitment efforts, and ensuring timely follow-up on program actions. The role works closely with program leadership to refine processes, monitor progress toward goals, and contribute to continuous improvement of services offered through the hub.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Program Management and Program Development skills to coordinate initiatives, support implementation, and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with participants, partners, and colleagues in a responsive, culturally sensitive manner.
  • Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to organize tasks, manage timelines, and track deliverables across multiple activities.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders in K–12 and community settings.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office productivity and data management tools.
  • Experience in education, community programs, or nonprofit settings is beneficial.
  • Relevant postsecondary education or equivalent combination of training and experience in program or project coordination.
