Classroom Teacher (Various Ages)

Schedule:

Depends on the children in your classroom and their arrival and departure patterns.

Location:

Beaufort County, NC

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a teaching team to plan, implement, and assess student learning and development.
• Build meaningful, communication-focused relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
• Ensure compliance withNC-DCDEEpolicies and guidelines (including sanitation and CACFP regulations).
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes literacy, learning, and engagement.
• Support an inclusive, child-centered atmosphere where every child can feel confident and secure to explore and grow.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

Preferred Education:

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or a related field
• NC Childcare Credentials
• Fluent in Spanish and English

Experience:

At least2 years of licensed childcare experience required.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Knowledge of child development and behavior
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
