About the Role
We are seeking a warm, responsive, and engaging Hebrew Immersion Teacher to join our toddler classroom (ages 2-3).
This educator will support young children in developing early Hebrew language skills through daily routines, meaningful interactions, and hands-on experiences. The role centers on building strong relationships and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and learn at their own pace.
Key Responsibilities- Create a nurturing, responsive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Use Hebrew consistently throughout the day across routines, play, and interactions
- Support children’s social-emotional development and emerging independence
- Plan and facilitate process-based learning experiences
- Follow children’s interests and support curiosity-driven exploration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Communicate with families in a professional and supportive manner
- Fluency in spoken Hebrew (required)
- Experience working with toddlers (ages 2-3 preferred)
- Understanding of early childhood development, especially toddler development
- Patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to working with young children
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- An educator who is responsive, calm, and attuned to young children’s needs
- Someone who values process over product in early learning
- A teacher who can naturally and authentically incorporate Hebrew into everyday interactions
- A team player who contributes positively to the classroom community
