OVERVIEWThe Wee Wacs Sr Supervisor provides stellar care to infants and children under their supervision.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordination between WeeWACs & 2nd floor team for meal program
- Management of centers email
- Providing leadership and support to the WeeWACs teaching staff.
- Helping mentor, train, and guide team members as needed.
- Assisting with scheduling, classroom organization, and program planning.
- Ensuring all licensing, safety, and program policies are followed consistently.
- Care for infants and toddlers, creating an engaging environment that delivers high-quality care
- Interact with children and parents to facilitate smooth pick-up and drop-off of children
- Deliver a high level of customer service to parents
- Coordinate program activities, supplies, and classroom resources to support daily operations.
- Supervise, direct, and support childcare staff to ensure safe, high-quality care and a positive learning environment.
- Assign daily duties and monitor staffing levels to maintain required child-to-staff ratios and licensing compliance.
- Provide training, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing performance feedback to teachers and childcare aides.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Participate in employee performance management, including addressing concerns, documenting performance issues, and partnering with management and Human Resources when appropriate.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules and coordinate coverage for absences and peak attendance periods.
- Ensure compliance with all childcare licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, Club policies, and program procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- ECE Initial early childhood certificate
- A minimum of one (5) year of experience caring for children and infants
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- STARS training preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset
