Level Ten Energy seeks a Senior Director, Strategic Energy Markets to lead strategy across wholesale and emerging power markets. In this leadership role, you will analyze regulatory and market trends, shape market-entry and pricing strategies, and guide Level Ten's participation in global renewable energy markets. You'll partner with product, analytics, and sales teams to align offerings with buyer needs, build financial and portfolio models, and engage with regulators, system operators, and industry stakeholders.
This mission-driven role offers the opportunity to influence market design, advance the clean energy transition, and mentor a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy for Level
- Ten's participation in wholesale and emerging energy markets across North America and Europe
- Analyze market, regulatory, and policy trends to identify risks and opportunities for renewable energy products and services
- Develop and refine market-entry and pricing strategies for Level
- Ten's marketplaces and transaction solutions
- Partner with product, analytics, and sales teams to align offerings with utility, corporate, and financial buyer needs
- Represent Level
- Ten with regulators, system operators, and key industry stakeholders to influence market design and rules
- Build business cases and financial models to evaluate new market initiatives and portfolio strategies
- Provide executive-level insight and recommendations based on complex power market data and forecasts
- Mentor and guide a small team of market analysts and subject-matter experts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support major customer deals and strategic partnerships
- Present thought leadership at industry forums, conferences, and with strategic customers
