We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Seattle, WA office. As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for leading projects as a project manager or the lead engineer for the delivery of large and highly complex projects. They will work closely with a team of engineers and consultants to provide project direction, engineering solutions, and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.

Primary responsibilities will include project management, engineering analysis, design and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings. Additional responsibilities include working within the project's monetary budget, leading training and mentoring efforts, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Adept in the technical aspects of one's discipline; advanced proficiency in technical and analytical skills including principles of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link, Tech Street, MadCAD, and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI).
  • Advanced proficiency of Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS;
    Proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.
  • Ability to mentor, train, motivate, and lead others.
  • Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise.
  • Ability to sell work and develop client relationships.
  • Strong training and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • 14 years of experience minimum required, 16 preferred, in the building design consulting industry.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull.
  • Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises.

Salary Range

$-$ annually. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
