Senior Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Talascend is currently seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Seattle, Washington.

This job family is responsible for providing support to engineers on technical projects and/or products, including collecting, maintaining, organizing, compiling, and manipulating technical data.

• May create, build, assemble, modify and/or repair prototypes.
• Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, etc.).
• Performs mathematical calculations per engineering specifications.
• Undertakes analyses of data where guidelines are provided.
• Recommends alternative solutions to problems and obstacles.
• May set-up and conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering analysis.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.
• AA degree in related discipline and 2 years of related experience.

• Has the knowledge and experience to be able to handle unusual and seldom occurring job events with minimal assistance.
• May serve in a lead or supervisory role and train others.
