Summary:
Looking for an immediate hire to work with a well-established engineering and architecture firm based in Seattle, Washington. We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with strong experience in diagnostics, restoration, and forensic investigations.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing structural assessments and diagnostic evaluations of existing buildings.
- Supporting proposal development and client communications.
- Conducting field investigations and non-destructive testing.
- Preparing technical reports and repair recommendations.
- Developing design documents and specifications for restoration projects.
- Reviewing construction activities and ensuring quality standards.
- Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
The Structural Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in structural diagnostics or related fields.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license (required).
- Strong understanding of building systems and forensic methods.
