- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects.
- 2 years of experience with industrial campus planning and design.
- 2 years of experience with facility electrical and mechanical systems.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5 years of experience with data center campus planning and utility projects.
- Experience working with local utilities to understand existing infrastructure limitations and future capacity upgrades.
- Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives on schedule within budget.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
In this role, you will contribute to complex, multi-disciplinary, and geographically dispersed data center campus plans and utility concept development, as well as site environmental due diligence, design, and site/civil and ground up construction for projects across the Americas. You will provide project management of data center campus plans, and utility and site/civil projects at multiple scales. You will manage complex schedules, budgets, and broad inter-dependencies.
The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
