Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineer, Electronics Engineer
Overview
At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re developing reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. This role is part of Tera Wave, a satellite communications network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth.
The network will service tens of thousands of enterprise, data center, and government users who require reliable connectivity for critical operations. The Emerging Systems business unit is pioneering the future of space-based communications with Tera Wave, a multi-orbit constellation of 5,408 optically interconnected satellites in LEO and MEO, providing enterprise-grade connectivity for critical operations worldwide. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop, integrate, and test the electronics that drive and power fiber and laser amplifiers used in space optical communication links.
You will work closely with photonics, firmware, and systems engineers to take optical links from concept to orbit.
