Spacecraft Builds Integration Specialist (Harnessing & Avionics) The Role

Join an exciting Seattle-based space startup as a Build & Integration Specialist. We are seeking local candidates to be the hands‑on force turning engineering designs into flight‑ready spacecraft. • Harnessing & Soldering:
  Lead the fabrication of complex wire harnesses and perform high‑precision soldering/rework on flight hardware (J-STD-001 standards).
• Spacecraft Integration:
  Own the hands‑on assembly and integration of avionics, power, and propulsion systems.
• Test Infrastructure:
  Build and evolve Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) setups, test fixtures, and support hardware.
• Testing & DAQ:
  Support propulsion and thermal thruster test campaigns, executing data‑driven integration and acceptance tests.
• Lab Leadership:
  Maintain a flight‑ready build area and help establish workflows as our facility matures.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years of hands‑on experience in aerospace, robotics, or high‑reliability hardware assembly.
• Harnessing Mastery:
  Expert‑level skills in fabricating and modifying complex harnesses. Direct experience working in a dedicated harnessing lab is highly beneficial.
• Precision Soldering:
  Advanced proficiency in soldering and rework (J-STD certification preferred).
• Data Acquisition:
  Experience running test instrumentation and DAQ systems. Specific experience with Dewesoft software is a major plus.
