PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer 3, in Seattle, WA. Job
Pay Rates: $55.00 - $78.00
Job Description Position Responsibilities- Supports the development and verification of test methods
- Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan
- Implements solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact
- Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
- Uses analytical tools to verify the design
- Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements
- Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
- Read electrical diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical systems
- Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements
- Presents test results internally
- Archives data and reports
- Trains others
- Works under general direction
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 1+ year of experience with electrical and electronic technologies
- 1+ year of experience in the use of computer aided design and simulation tools
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with strong electrical/electronic background from an accredited college or institution
- Experience with wire design
- Experience using electrical design tools including WCAD and Zuken E3
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience interacting with customers to coordinate testing requirements and schedule
- Experience with mechanical systems
