At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
This role is part of New Glenn Avionics Hardware Solutions Team, supporting Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows for the future.
Provides hands‑on support to Engineering/Production/Manufacturing by performing activities such as test, F.A.I., modification, fabrication, and assembly of electro/mechanical systems. Applications may include electronic circuits, power distribution, life/vehicle and critical safety systems. Work is performed from schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble‑shooting functions. Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
As part of a hardworking team of technicians, you will assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical harness assemblies for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all production, evaluation, and development of light‑grade Avionics Harnessing and electrical systems. Work in the Avionics Harness Lab requires a high level of proficiency in the technical aspects of the work such as measuring and layout, terminating a variety of electrical connections on mechanical assemblies and performing various assembly soldering operations.
Once complete you will perform different verification tests to ensure we produce the highest quality product.
