Job Summary

We are looking for a Geotechnical Seismic Hazard Engineer to assess risks and support safe, resilient infrastructure and project planning. In this role, you will analyze seismic hazard data, develop probabilistic and deterministic hazard models, and translate complex seismic assessments into practical recommendations for engineering and planning teams. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, experience with seismic hazard software and geotechnical data, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical seismic hazards analyses, site-response, and ground-motion development for projects.

    • Develop magnitude-frequency relationships for seismic source zones and faults,
    • Develop smooth and background seismicity models,
    • Evaluate ground motion models for applicability.
  • Perform probabilistic seismic hazard analyses using open‑source, commercial, or in‑house software as applicable.
  • Selection, scaling, spectral matching, baseline correction, and manipulation of ground motion time histories.
