Join a scaling electrification program within GFP E&I team. You will contribute to the design, development and testing of large-scale power conversion systems, enabling the deployment of next-generation charging infrastructure and solution across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define, develop and maintain functional testing plans for power converters and EV chargers to meet product and operational requirements. Lead and execute the test in vendor labs and Amazon field sites. Document and report test results.

• Collect field failure data and perform initial root cause investigation. Work with vendors to root cause failures and verify the corrective actions.
- 20%
• Review product materials (e.g. spec sheet, manual, schematics, test reports, etc.) to identify product gaps to meet our standard equipment document and interface control document.
- 20%
• Work with product, engineering and electrical design teams to develop and standardize DC system specifications for various architectures.
- 10%
• Work with product, engineering and electrical design teams to develop and maintain the system level failure mode analysis for various DC architectures.
- 10%
• Support design improvements for DC systems by contributing to the key design reviews and participating in witness tests of sample products.
- 10%
• Travel (30%) nationally and internationally across vendors and field sites to perform tests, commissioning and validation.
Must-Have
Skills:
• 7+ years of engineering experience in power electronics / power systems design, integration and testing (industrial/motor/utility).
• Demonstrable knowledge of DC power system controls (industrial / C&I /motor drives).
• Hands-on familiarity with electrical protection (e.g., fault detection, protection relays, system reliability).
• Program-management experience: leading system hardware design and integration, coordinating across functions, tracking milestones.
• Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering (or similar) and several years of industrial experience (≥ 7 years).
• Strong technical writing skills and documentation practices
• Vendor collaboration experience
