At Integral, principals are business, client, and staff leaders. They are recognized internally and externally as technical and strategic authorities in one or more technical areas. Paramount to the position is successful client development for both existing and new clients, and in both existing and new services. Individuals who successfully generate net revenue are recognized as trusted advisors to key clients, which in turn requires in‑depth understanding of clients’ business and technical challenges. Principals generate net revenue equal to or exceeding $1.25 million per year through a combination of collaboration and individual effort.

As a Principal Hydrogeologist, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:

• Developing new business and leveraging existing client relationships to expand Integral’s existing business portfolio and capabilities
• Serving as principal‑in‑charge on key projects
• Engaging in staff development, coaching, and mentoring
• Demonstrating leadership in achievement of company goals
• Acting as a key advisor to the Investigation and Remediation business director

Candidates should have an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental engineering, or related field.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Oregon R.G. or P.E. license or Washington L.G. or L.H.G. license
• Recognized expertise in the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites
• Thorough knowledge of state (Oregon and Washington) and federal (CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA) regulatory frameworks
• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting
• Proven track record in developing and capturing environmental consulting?business, and supporting or leading growth of an environmental investigation and remediation practice
• Proven leadership on investigation/remediation projects as a strategic advisor to clients
• Litigation experience, including testifying, consulting, and/or support roles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
