OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Controls Engineer / Systems Engineer III to support the development, deployment, and optimization of complex robotics and industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PLC/HMI development, industrial networking, robotics work cells, and controls system integration in large-scale operational environments.
This role requires hands‑on experience with automation systems, commissioning processes, troubleshooting methodologies, and performance optimization of integrated mechanical and software systems.
Our client, a leader in advanced robotics and automation technology, is seeking a Robotics Controls Engineer / Systems Engineer III to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and hands‑on automation experience that will align successfully within the organization.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy industrial control systems and robotics work cells.
- Develop PLC and HMI applications for automated systems and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and optimize integrated systems involving robotics platforms and industrial networks.
- Support commissioning, deployment, and validation of automation systems.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve system throughput, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- 5–7 years of experience in controls systems engineering or industrial automation.
- Strong experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and controls integration.
- Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131‑3 programming languages.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial networks such as Ether
CAT, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet. - Hands‑on experience with robotics work cells, servo drives, safety systems, and automated machinery.
