Rail & Transit Engineering Internship

We are looking for students to join Mott Mac Donald’s brand-new 2026 internship program in Seattle, WA. The internship will provide hands‑on experience across a variety of projects.

• Designing engineering solutions
• Conducting site inspections and monitoring
• Joining project and client meetings
• Refining technical designs and documentation

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated interest in the chosen field through previous internships, volunteering, or organization memberships
• Creative thinking skills, with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
• Resilient, solution‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous growth and delivering value
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork

Location:

Salary: $18 – $35 per hour, determined based on location, education, experience and unique skills.
