Just walk out hardware team is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in hardware design, validation, and product release processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development including and not limited to schematic design, PCB layout support, testing, and ensuring compliance with EMC/EMI and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Define and drive electrical architecture, system integration, and technical strategy for assigned projects.
- Create schematics, support PCB layout, and perform design reviews.
- Conduct hardware bring‑up, debugging and support for manufacturing, assembly, deployment, or operational readiness at scale.
- Lead product validation and release activities, including test plan development and execution.
- Ensure designs meet EMC/EMI compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (firmware, mechanical, manufacturing).
- Support prototype builds, design verification testing (DVT), and production validation (PVT).
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and release artifacts.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical design, including system‑level architecture and integration.
- 3+ years experience with analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of PCB stackup and material selection for optimal signal integrity and EMC performance.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard design, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., Cadence, Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Understanding of EMC/EMI design techniques and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles including switch gear, UPS, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Experience managing projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in product lifecycle management and release processes.
