Join us in contributing to the aerospace sector and enhancing quality control through NDT practices.
Essential Functions:- Author and refine Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
- Incorporate revisions authored by the method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
- Develop Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) for specialized calibration standards.
- Perform setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment according to calibration standards.
- Compose procedure figures detailing inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
- Report potential adverse trends or anomalous results to ensure high-quality inspection outcomes.
- Minimum of 1 year of education or experience in Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as required.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces.
Skills:
- 3+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- At least 800 hours in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- At least 300 hours in Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
- At least 800 hours in Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with CAD software and proficiency in writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.
