AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Amazon Web Services’ Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for experienced professionals to help build AWS' in-house designed and developed AI Accelerator platform (Trainium). We need a candidate with supply chain and operations experience capable of operating in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. The NPI team works closely with engineering, deployment, suppliers, and data‑center operations to launch new products and manage transitions.
Key Responsibilities- Execute strategic plans that improve service, productivity, and quality, aligning with the organization and customer vision.
- Develop and implement systems of accountability to ensure ongoing, measurable performance improvement.
- Understand the technical requirements of partners and work closely with internal development teams to guide supply‑chain activities.
- Prepare and give detailed data‑driven business reviews to senior management, focused on new product launches or transitions.
- Drive strategic BOM reviews and qualifications with internal teams.
- Juggle multiple requirements and responsibilities, and concisely and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Interact with senior AWS leaders on a regular basis, synthesizing complex program information into actionable updates to drive alignment across engineering, supply‑chain, and procurement teams.
- Own the supply‑chain strategy for the NPI program, responsible for material readiness during prototype and qualification, and develop a plan to scale production for launch.

Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
