Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Estimator is responsible for independent cost estimate development across all design phases, from pre-design through final design, and provides change order estimating and review support during the construction phase. The role requires proficiency in developing well-documented estimates at each design milestone, with a strong understanding of both design-build and design-bid-build project delivery methods and their associated technical documents, including drawings, specifications, contractor price proposals, and vendor and subcontractor quotes.
The Estimator must demonstrate a thorough understanding of market and labor conditions and their direct impact on project cost, with the ability to assess, analyze, and incorporate those factors into estimate development and cost positions. The Estimator will also serve as a core contributor to value engineering workshops and risk assessments, providing cost inputs and reviewing outputs for consistency with the overall project estimate.
