Salary Range: $55 hr. to 60 hr. Introduction

RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
- 1 year of engineering experience
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, Solidworks
- Experience with NDI systems: ultrasonics, eddy current
- Experience in aviation and/or aerospace
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent skills with various computing systems
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations
- Knowledge of materials science with metals and/or composites
- Develops NDE procedures in support of airline customer maintenance inspections
- Designs NDE reference standards in support of inspection procedures
- Develops engineering specifications and other documents to meet customer needs
- Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs
- Assists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to meet requirements
- Performs routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements
- Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements
- Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and labs and office areas
