Bridge Engineer – Seattle

Our Seattle team is growing, and we seek a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to contribute to challenging, high‑profile infrastructure projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets and perform analysis of complex structures.
- Work with senior engineers on proposals, project coordination, and client communications and meetings.
- Prepare design calculations and drawings in accordance with applicable design codes, and develop engineering reports and technical documents.
- Prepare standard construction documents such as technical specifications and proposal documents.
- Conduct bridge inspections, load rating analyses, seismic evaluations, and retrofit/rehabilitation studies.
- Provide support during construction, including submittal reviews and site visits.
- Work with and supervise junior engineers in performing designs and preparing documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the home state or obtaining within 12 months of employment.
- Minimum 5+ years of bridge design experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AASHTO and other structural design codes.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as MDX, LARSA, CSiBridge, or MIDAS.
- Competence with Excel, Mathcad, and other engineering software for calculations.
- Base compensation: $73,600 to $114,600 for Seattle location only.
