Estimated $73,000 to $90,000 based on full-time employment + bonus + benefits. Compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and certification.

Our office is located in the Alaska Junction Neighborhood in West Seattle. We are located within a 3-minute walk of free parking, the C Line rapid ride bus system, many delicious restaurants, bakeries, and shopping. Traffic dependent- our office is 15 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes to Alki Beach. This calm location is a sweet stepping off point to the city.

Mayfly is a civil engineering-based firm with an emphasis on integrated sustainable design. We specialize in the design and planning of projects that are sensitive to both their social and natural environments. We provide full civil engineering services from early site and options analysis through construction documents and specifications as well as provide construction administration. In addition to conventional civil engineering design, our portfolio of built projects includes stormwater retrofits to existing urban watersheds, park focused projects that emphasize equity and access, and projects that are committed to sustainable approaches.

We are looking for curious, collaborative, and independent engineers with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively on several projects simultaneously. We are looking for engineers that have the following skills or are willing to work to acquire them quickly.

• Degree in Engineering
• Interest in sustainable design and improving their communities.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D or interest and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
