At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit.

As a Senior Mission Operations Engineer, you will lead the preparation and execution of on-orbit Blue Ring operations - developing Con Ops, building operations products, streamlining workflows through strategic use of automation and AI/ML technologies, forming and leading on-console crews, and executing early mission operations on orbit.

You will lead small teams of mission operations engineers across the program lifecycle while collaborating extensively with engineers from both the space and ground segments. Your technical leadership will directly enable Blue Origin to field and efficiently operate game-changing new capabilities in space for a range of customers.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with a strong operator and customer focus, combined with the persistence and passion to build space operations capabilities from the ground up. Join us in enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit earth - passion for our mission is required!
