Pay Rate: $25 - $28 /hour
Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2026Delve Underground Seattle office is seeking an entry level Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to assist our technical design team with a variety of office and field assignments, with a focus on geotechnical or structural engineering analyses, development of drawings, specifications, research, calculations, project coordination, organizational tasks, and technical memoranda for heavy civil projects.
Responsibilities- Prepare design calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Assist with the preparation of planning and design technical reports.
- Review and evaluate instrumentation and monitoring data.
- Assist with construction site inspections and daily reporting.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining contract drawings using AutoCAD.Assist in reviewing construction submittals and requests for information.
- Communicate effectively with other designer and construction management staff.
- Work on a variety of office and field assignments.
- Must be a currently enrolled college student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar program.
- Coursework or experience in structural or geotechnical engineering preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience, AutoCAD experience preferred
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
