Senior Bridge Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer who will lead technical work on bridge design projects, perform complex structural planning and design for various bridge systems, and supervise junior engineers as needed.

• Lead technical work on bridge design projects.
• Perform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects.
• Work on bridge types including steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental, cable, box culvert, and interchange design for highway and transit projects.
• Serve as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid‑size projects and supervise junior engineers.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• SE professional license preferred.
• Experience with drafting software such as Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with engineering software packages including PGSuper, SAP
  2000, CSiBridge, LARSA 4D, MathCAD, LEAP Bridge, Enterprise, FB‑Multi Pier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, Midas Civil, MDX, ADINA, RM Bridge, sp Column, or LUSAS.

• Minimum of 10 years bridge design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Hands‑on experience in all aspects of bridge design projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GEOPAK, AutoCAD, and Micro Station.
• Experience using structural analysis programs and bridge design software.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Comfortable being viewed as a technical expert in engineering analysis and design.
• Commitment to being an active participant in an employee‑owned culture.
