Location:
Seattle, WA - Onsite Contract Duration : 12+ Months with possibility to extension. Salary Range: $55 to $60/hr on W2 - Competitive, based on experience Introduction :
We are seeking a passionate and creative Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support our Wire Shops, Systems, and Test Labs. The ideal candidate will have an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency, upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing.
- Prior experience working with manufacturing systems.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
- Experience with space or military electronics.
- Experience with using manufacturing tools (PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, GOLDesp).
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Identify and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build.
- Conduct producibility assessments to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Provide producibility information for inclusion in project plans and help document producibility best practices.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.
- Create manufacturing plans and validate production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
- Implement lean principles and technologies.
- Collaborate with Supplier Management to establish Lab test integration requirements and opportunities.
