Position TitleEnvironmental Specialist III | Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, & Environmental Programs (OSEP) – Contract/W‑2 (exempt W2)
Employment TypeContract contingent or Contract W‑2. Working hybrid on/off client site in the CONUS (Washington, DC; Clarksburg, WV; Quantico, VA; nationwide field offices).
OverviewProvides senior environmental program leadership, compliance oversight, and strategic execution for federal law‑enforcement agencies, including the FBI. Ensures regulatory compliance, manages reporting, and coordinates enterprise initiatives to protect people, operations, and mission performance.
Responsibilities and Duties- Lead environmental programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide data‑driven Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Programs services.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and maintain professional communication with clients and contractors.
- Develop and manage workplace occupational safety and health programs.
- Monitor compliance with hazardous materials handling and waste disposal procedures.
- Prepare and maintain reports for federal agencies and internal management.
- Maintain high level of professionalism and discretion in sensitive situations.
- B.S./M.S. with 5‑10 years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
- Knowledge of energy and water efficiency strategies, LEED rating system, environmental compliance, and federal reporting.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, SharePoint, and other data‑analysis tools.
- Adherence to federal and local environmental and safety standards.
Applicant must hold a Top‑Secret security clearance prior to commencing work and maintain it throughout performance of the contract.
