We are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm. This individual will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects that enhance mobility and improve communities. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and support transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, intersections, highways, and multimodal facilities
  • Assist with or lead traffic analysis, roadway design, and corridor studies
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports
  • Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, and traffic modeling software
  • Coordinate with internal teams across civil, planning, and environmental disciplines
  • Support or manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables (level dependent)
  • Interface with clients, municipalities, and DOT agencies
  • Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to proposals and business development efforts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain)
  • 2–10 years of experience in transportation engineering
  • Experience with roadway design, traffic engineering, or transportation planning
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, Synchro, HCS, or similar
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in growing into project management or technical leadership roles
