Responsibilities

We are seeking a Project Manager focused on Water and Wastewater System Planning to join our team in our Seattle, Portland or Boise locations primarily for Northwest projects.

  • Develop traditional as well as integrated master plans for municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater utilities
  • Conduct data analysis for hodologic conditions, sanitary and storm flows, water demands, system hydraulics, etc.
  • Develop conceptual site plans and cost estimates
  • Conduct system modeling for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
  • Assist with permitting and alternatives analysis
  • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
  • Support and develop client relations
  • Share knowledge and provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineering staff on master planning and hydraulic modeling projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 7-15 years of directly-relevant experience in water, sewer, and stormwater system modeling, and master planning
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • Project management skills with demonstrated experience managing staff with scope, budget, and schedule
  • Ability to apply engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
  • Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, CAD software, and water and sewer hydraulic modeling packages from Autodesk (Inovyze and XPSWMM), Bentley, and DHI Mike
  • Knowledge of hydrology, system hydraulics, hydraulic modeling software for pressurized and/or gravity pipeline networks, knowledge and experience working with GIS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Compensation Range

$125,000 to $150,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
