Water Management
• Lead the planning, design, and permitting of stormwater management and green infrastructure projects from feasibility through construction while managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Direct collaborative and alternative delivery programs for municipal stormwater and GI initiatives, aligning project outcomes with broader urban resilience and sustainability goals.
• Guide project approaches and provide oversight on stakeholder coordination with partners such as SPU, community groups, regulatory agencies, and design consultants.
• Mentor engineering and project management staff offering strategic direction and quality review.
• Support business development through proposal preparation, client relationship management, and program growth.
- Masters Degree in Civil, Environmental, Landscape Architecture or Water Resources Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in the planning, design, and permitting of stormwater management and green infrastructure (GI/GSI) projects.
- Demonstrated success leading collaborative delivery and alternative delivery programs for municipal stormwater and urban resilience projects (strongly preferred).
- Experience working in Seattle with Seattle Public Utilities (SPU), King County, and similar clients, on GI, natural channel design, or similar programs.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal stormwater regulations and permitting pathways.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client facing skills.
- Background in sustainable water infrastructure, climate resilience, and nature-based solutions.
- Experience managing large, multiyear capital programs.
- Familiarity with Washington State Department of Ecology and local stormwater manuals.
- Ability to represent the organization in technical conferences, workshops, and community meetings.
