Mazzetti's Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Consulting Engineering Practice is dedicated to designing high performance, resilience, and sustainable solutions for the built environment, with a keen focus on Healthcare and Infrastructure projects. Our team of experts combines technical excellence with a collaborative, client‑focused approach to deliver exceptional outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Engineer Project Manager to join our growing Seattle team. This role is primarily responsible for leading complex healthcare engineering projects from pursuit through construction while leveraging advanced mechanical design expertise to deliver exceptional technical solutions. The successful candidate will manage project scope, schedule, budget, client relationships, and multidisciplinary teams while remaining actively engaged in mechanical system design and technical decision‑making.

• Manage mechanical engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Develop project scopes, work plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and project execution strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across multiple Mazzetti offices.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability while proactively identifying and resolving project risks.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate communication among clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.

• Lead or perform the design of HVAC and mechanical building systems for complex healthcare facilities, including hospitals, medical office buildings, and other critical environments.
• Perform engineering analyses, calculations, equipment selections, and system studies.
• Prepare or oversee construction documents, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for quality, constructability, code compliance, and technical excellence.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and specialty disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, client requirements, and Mazzetti quality expectations.

• Support projects during construction by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, participating in site visits, and resolving technical issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, owners, and project teams to support successful project delivery through project completion.
