Position Summary

The Boeing Company is looking for a Deputy Chief Pilot – Flight Technical and Safety (FT&S) located in Seattle, WA. This position is primarily non-flying but must maintain qualification as a pilot on at least one model of Boeing aircraft and requires a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating or equivalent.

Position Responsibilities
  • Responsible for executing projects, implementing policies and procedures and setting operational goals
  • Acquiring resources for projects, providing technical management and leading process improvements
  • Leading/mentoring a team of direct reports
Basic Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role or completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • U.S. export control compliance – a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • 737 Type Rating
  • Five or more years of experience in airplane accident investigation and/or training
  • Work experience in Flight Operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • International flight experience
  • 757/767 Type Rating

Summary Pay Range : $256,700 - $347,300
