Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer with strong project management capabilities to lead multidisciplinary teams, drive technical excellence, and foster lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

+ Lead project teams and manage budgets, schedules, and resources with precision and accountability.

+ Serve as Lead Engineer and/or Engineer of Record (EOR), providing technical leadership across design scopes.

+ Enhance operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes.

+ Participate in project interviews and represent the firm with professionalism and expertise.

+ Communicate design concepts clearly to clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.

+ Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and quality service.

+ Present technical content to clients, internal staff, and at industry events.

+ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development through training and guidance.

+ Play a key role in shaping and refining company standards and workflows.

+ Uphold and enforce the project Quality Management Plan (QMP).

+ Perform additional duties as needed to support project and company success.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Minimum of 12 years of industry experience in building systems design.

+ Professional credential in discipline (e.g., PE, CPD, RCDD).

+ Proven leadership experience in engineering and project management roles.

+ Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to inspire and motivate others.

+ Demonstrated success in managing projects profitably and efficiently.

+ Proficiency in project billing, reporting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

+ Solid understanding of financial and operational aspects of project delivery.

+ Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and design software including Revit and AutoCAD.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Must have experience within the MEP space.

+ Can work from any Washington office, including Seattle and Spokane.

+ Must be proficient in Revit and Electrical engineering.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
