Our client, a global manufacturer of specialized gas and combustion equipment, is looking for a Test Engineer to own the full test process across their product line. This role focuses on testing high-pressure gas systems, combustion equipment, and custom-built units. If you want your work to directly shape engineering decisions and love to be hands-on - this is that role.

What You'll Do

Develop and document test plans for products across sales orders and engineering projects, including custom units
Execute engineering validation testing, primarily mechanical and thermal, against design requirements and applicable codes
Set up instrumentation and data acquisition systems; record and reduce test data
Report findings and performance conclusions to engineering to support design decisions
Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation when tests produce unexpected results
Coordinate with the machine shop and order parts as needed to support testing
Enforce safe test procedures and maintain lab equipment and data acquisition systems

What You Need

BS in mechanical engineering, related engineering discipline
3+ years of hands-on experience as a test engineer
Experience designing and building test stands and instrumentation, including data acquisition for pressure, flow, and temperature
Ability to write clear, complete test reports that stand alone without additional explanation
