Aboutthe Role
The Systems Engineer will join a cross-functional avionics integration team, responsible for requirements definition, systems architecture, verification, and certification support. You’ll ensure safety-critical systems meet stringent regulatory and defense standards while collaborating with hardware, software, and flight test teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and validate avionics system requirements
- Support architecture design and integration with aircraft systems
- Lead verification and validation activities, including test planning and execution
- Work with certification teams to ensure compliance with FAA and DoD standards
- Collaborate across disciplines including hardware, software, and program management
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to capture evolving needs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in aerospace, electrical, or systems engineering
- 5–10 years in avionics systems engineering or related fields
- Strong knowledge of DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP
4754A standards - Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
- Security clearance (or eligibility) preferred
