About

the Role

The Systems Engineer will join a cross-functional avionics integration team, responsible for requirements definition, systems architecture, verification, and certification support. You’ll ensure safety-critical systems meet stringent regulatory and defense standards while collaborating with hardware, software, and flight test teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate avionics system requirements
  • Support architecture design and integration with aircraft systems
  • Lead verification and validation activities, including test planning and execution
  • Work with certification teams to ensure compliance with FAA and DoD standards
  • Collaborate across disciplines including hardware, software, and program management
  • Interface with customers and stakeholders to capture evolving needs
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in aerospace, electrical, or systems engineering
  • 5–10 years in avionics systems engineering or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP
    4754A standards
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
  • Security clearance (or eligibility) preferred
