Amazon Prime Air Engineer
Come work on the Amazon Prime Air Team! Prime Air is seeking an experienced engineer to aid the development and scaling of the Production and Field Operations of the electrical propulsion system of Prime Air Drones. This role will require you to dive deep into root cause analysis, troubleshoot in a lab environment, develop mitigations, and drive future solutions for the propulsion subsystem.
You will also be responsible for documenting and developing streamlined workflows to deliver corrective actions for other subsystems and operations use, interfacing with supply chain and external vendors on your findings, and applying this knowledge into production-level test systems to help mitigate issues on future hardware.
Key job responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting with hardware/software interfaces
- Root cause analysis on hardware failures across the electrical propulsion subsystem
- Providing corrective actions
- Implementing changes in production-level hardware/software
- Developing GUIs/workflows to help streamline hardware defect tracking
