NDT Engineer 4

Our client, an Aerospace And Defense company, is looking for an NDT Engineer 4 for their Tukwila, WA location. Responsibilities include developing NDE procedures in support of airline customer maintenance inspections, designing NDE reference standards in support of inspection procedures, developing engineering specifications and other documents to meet customer needs, assisting in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs, assisting with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements, performing routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements, using project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements, and incorporating environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures and labs and office areas.

Requirements include a Bachelor, or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics, 10+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years of aerospace engineering experience, 5+ years of NDT experience, experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, Solidworks, experience with NDI systems: ultrasonics, eddy current, radiography, experience working in multidisciplinary teams, excellent communication skills, excellent skills with various computing systems, excellent documentation and technical writing skills, excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations, knowledge of materials science with metals and/or composites, Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.
