Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on support to clients implementing EHS programs and strategies
- Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with global teams on hazards, chemical management, industrial hygiene, and related solutions
- Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted extension of clients’ EHS teams
- Provide onsite client support for EHS challenges
- Support or conduct EHS compliance audits, including reviewing requirements, identifying gaps, documenting findings, and supporting corrective action planning
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results
- Perform safety audits, assessments, and process improvements across behavior-based safety, chemical and lab safety, electrical safety/NFPA 70E, industrial hygiene, robotics safety, process hazard assessments, and LOTO
- Assist in developing and implementing Haz Comm, IIPP, PSM, and other programs
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Assist in managing projects to scope, budget, and schedule targets
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related science OR equivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education)
- 1+ year of relevant experience in EHS compliance, such as stormwater or behavior-based safety
- Ability to travel across the Puget Sound area, including occasional overnight stays and/or daily client site visits based on business needs
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams
- Valid driver's license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle
- Not eligible for immigration sponsorship
- Experience with industries such as tech, bio-pharma, or manufacturing preferred
- Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM preferred
- Knowledge of Washington-specific EHS regulations and best practices preferred
