This position can be based from a local ERM office with hybrid status or fully remote if 100 miles away from an ERM office.

  • 4+ years of consulting experience with CERCLA-style state and federal sediment site investigation and remediation projects.

  • Proven project management expertise and ability to lead multi-person teams.

  • Strong “seller/doer” track record—proposal writing, winning projects, and client engagement.

  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of sediment regulatory frameworks.

  • Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.

  • Driver's License

    Required:

This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in aquatic sciences, engineering, geology, chemistry, or related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple sediment investigation and remediation projects, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule compliance.

  • Collaborate with ERM’s global SI/RM experts to deliver best-in‑class solutions.

  • Provide leadership in staff development, performance management, and retention.

  • Drive business growth through client relationship management and cross‑selling ERM’s services.
