We are seeking a hands‑on assembly technician who is interested in growing into an Application Engineer role. This position serves as the bridge between customers and manufacturing, helping turn product requirements into successful production plans. Responsibilities include quoting, production planning, assembly process development, and providing design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback.

• Review drawings, BOMs, and customer requirements to support quoting and project feasibility.
• Prepare cost estimates, labor estimates, and production plans.
• Support DFM/DFA efforts to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
• Develop assembly documentation, work instructions, and build plans.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer teams to ensure production readiness.
• Support production scheduling, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3+ years of assembly, manufacturing, production or engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical or electromechanical assembly processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works or Fusion 360.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with sheet metal assemblies, manufacturing documentation or customer‑facing technical support is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity and other pertinent job‑related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
