This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of experts, you will develop and execute supplier quality processes for the design, test and manufacture of launch vehicles, spacecraft and related technologies for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of Supplier Quality Management processes.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and qualify current and potential suppliers of electronic and satellite components.

Lead suppliers through resolving discrepancies, including corrective and preventive actions as well as recovery plans.

Support program reviews with key suppliers to ensure understanding of long-term business objectives.

Communicate supplier performance to senior management.

Participate in supplier quality audits, hardware acceptance and corrective actions.

Onboarding and qualify new suppliers.

Drive nonconformance reduction through root cause analysis and corrective action

Qualifications:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in either engineering, science or manufacturing processes.
10+ years’ industry experience in Quality.
5+ years specific to satellite manufacturing.

Relevant experience in AS9100/AS9120 auditing.

Relevant experience with electronic components.

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time and have a valid driver’s license.

Self-directed with strong time management skills.

Ability to maintain strong alignment with leadership and operational stakeholders in a remote environment.

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
