- Coordinate front-of-house staff and volunteers (ushers, check-in, seating, intermission flow)
- Troubleshoot patron issues with tact, speed, and good judgment
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, reconciliation, and performance notes
- Work closely with stage management/venue teams so front-of-house and backstage stay in sync
- Support special events and receptions (pre/post-show activities, donor and community events)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- 1–2+ years in ticketing and/or front-of-house management (performing arts strongly preferred)
- Strong customer service instincts: you’re personable, professional, and unflappable
- Confident with ticketing systems (we use Audience View; comparable systems welcome)
- Solid admin and cash-handling habits (accurate, accountable, detail-driven)
- Great communicator who can lead with warmth and clarity
- A genuine love of the arts and a respect for the role audience experience plays in making it thrive
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
LOGISTICS
- Fixed-term, approximately 3-month contract (March-May 2026)
- Based in Seattle with in-person presence required for performances and events; some remote admin work may be possible
- Work includes nights and weekends aligned to performance and events schedules
- Ability to assist with light event load-in/load-out and front-of-house setup
- Based in Seattle, with in-person presence required for performances and events; some remote admin work may be possible
COMPENSATION
This is a fixed-term contract paid at a rate of $30 per hour.
