ResponsibilitiesSalary: $22.66 per hour.
Ensure the appropriate number of cars are kept on location throughout the shift, that cars are parked correctly and the lot remains clean and presentable.
- Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
- Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
- Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
- Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.
- Assist customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
- Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have, directing them to the Facility Manager when necessary.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
- Report accidents, violations, safety hazards or any unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc., to the garage office.
- Substitute for valets when authorized.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area.
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

- Education/
Experience:
Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination. - License: A valid state‑issued driver’s license if required to drive a company vehicle or travel on company business.
- Shift Availability: 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location.
- Language
Skills:
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees. - Mathematical
Skills:
Add, subtract two‑digit numbers, and multiply and divide by tens and hundreds, using U.S. money units. - Appearance:
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in uniform at all times. - Physical Demands:
Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; walk with occasional climbing or balancing; lift or move up to 25 pounds.
